Welcome

I keep stopping and starting my blog over and over again but this time I'm going to stick to Ghost and post infrequently.

About me, I'm a software engineering manager from Ireland. I currently do platform software engineering for Linux servers, previously I was developing software for robots, cars, news sites and I was developing software in the open source wilderness for a while as well.

I'm a gamer and I've gamed on Linux before Valve made it cool with the Steam Deck. I was master league with Zerg, I was master guardian at CSGO for a bit, I play a lot of games and I love tinkering to see what I can do with Linux with that too.

Currently I'm focused on streamlining the Linux platform and tuning for performance so I tend to play around with settings quite a bit so maybe will do some posts about that.
