I just looked at my site and google chome doesnt understand height or width tags for images. I only use it for the ubuntu logo for my link to the ubuntu website but it looks really large in Chrome. Firefox and internet explorer handle dimension changes fine but chrome has some trouble.
On the website front I added a cool timeline for (almost) everything I do online looks nice and its really easy to set up.

Update: Alls fixed now, I was using the native dimensions to set the size for me. Firefox and IE both managed to use the image small but chrome must render the image differently on the page so it wasnt the height and width tags after all. I was just being dumb.

I was looking at my Analytics data and I was very surprised I have to say. The weird thing I found was the world map and how many people in different countries look at my site. Far away places like Brazil, Jordan, India, South Africa and the US(which is second place to Ireland in views). There are a load more other than that.
The browsers and operating systems that visit my blog is also very interesting. Firefox is top and in the OS visits its Linux (50 views), windows(28), Mac(6), (not set)? (1) and 1 visit from an iphone. I dont know what not set is lol. Linux is obviously top because thats what I blog about most and windows and mac views aren’t surprising but I wasnt expecting any views from mobile devices like iPhones.
Id love if analytics could pick up if they came to my blog by mistake or they are actually interested

I love Gedit. It has syntax highlighting for most languages and a spell checker. I feel thats all I need but one of my friends and one of my college classmates (Ilya) says im crazy and awkward for using it. The dev languages I know and have to programme from time to time in are mainly Java, Python and VB. Gedit has support for syntax highlighting for all of those languages.
I dont know maybe im being unreasonable but I think programming is easiest when its stripped down. Just you and the code. Of course tools can be helpful but refactoring isnt that hard and code completion is for lazy people.
Id love to hear what other people think so ill add a poll. Comment too please.
[polldaddy poll=1801105]
Update: I will reveal the results in two days. I will include peoples choices for the other category. All the results are very interesting so far I have to say.
