Its meant to cut out clutter in the main ui. It might not run on a 4 year old computer but its meant to look nice for the next 10 years.

No offense or anything but this looks horrible. The dropdown is cluttered looking, not to mention too big. Linux = simple, remember? And won’t run on a 4 yr. old computer? What’s up with that?

Nope there is no replacement for evolution. It has a lot more to it than thunderbird.

Just curious – will you finally be dumping Evolution? It’s one of my personal pet peeves with Gnome, it serves no use for me, but I can’t get rid of it, because then updates won’t work properly.
